CORONAVIRUS PROJECT
In March 2020, as the coronavirus pandemic grew and lives were impacted by national lockdowns, we launched our coronavirus project. We invited children to share their thoughts, feelings and experiences of the pandemic in written and/or art form via an online survey. We wondered:
How are children experiencing the pandemic? What thoughts and feelings do they have? What questions or ideas would they like to share?
We received over 500 responses from children aged 3 - 18, living in the UK, Norway, Iceland, Slovenia and beyond. This includes beautifully and thoughtfully created pictures which you can view in our gallery.
In a collaboration with The Open University Children's Research Centre, we analysed the survey responses that were submitted by children aged 3 - 12. Take a look at our summary report and children's poster to learn more about the key themes that were shared by these children.
